Counting off the days !

I am off to France next Friday to forage for new treasures , I am getting so excited , I can't wait to be back with my friends Nick and Ticky in their little slice of heaven.
There are lots of Vide Greniers on and I will visit all my local contacts too.

It is just not knowing what you may find that is a thrill and those lovely long evenings sitting outside watching the horses and chickens and looking down to the lake.

Cowslip Workshops " Summer Quarters "

 Lizzie and I have just had another lovely stay with Jo and Stephen at Cowslip Workshops.
The whole place is festooned with wonderful quilts for their Summer exhibition. Well worth a visit , you will receive a warm welcome and the food is as wonderful as ever.
We were sharing one of the lovely historic barnes with two delightful girls selling painted furniture and decorative items, former workshop students of Jo and Maggie.
The wonderful smell of newly cut hay and the swallows swooping over our heads was a far cry from town bustle . As always we slept well and ate too much !
