Lizzy and I share a love of French linen and textiles and have a joint collection , " Franglais " which we source together on our travels, bedlinens , soft furnishings , sheets for curtains , the more rustic the better we like them Handwoven linens and hemps from the 19th cent. wonderful shirts and chemises.
Ilminster Talent for Textiles Fair at The Old Meeting House is always a big favourite with stall holders and customers alike! This one was no exception and we had expanded into the garden with four of us under canvas in the front garden. 7 am saw us heaving up the so called "pop up " Gazebo's those of you who have done outside fairs will know what I mean!! However apart from a little sprinkle the weather was kind and we were happy to be out there greeting everyone it had a rather festival feel to the day. All the main T for T players were there and a good number of regular visiting dealers making the most wonderful array of goodies you could wish for. We all had a lovely day and I think most people had a good Fair
