Been Busy Bundling

I just love doing my bundles, they are so satisfying , all neat and colourful. This lot is destined for Cowslip Workshops Christmas Fair next week. Lizzie and I love our trips to the farm in Cornwall just outside Launceston.
There will be a really super lot of stalls , I know Donna Flower will be there with her gorgeous fabrics.
We had such fun last year and in the evenings we all sewed and knitted it was like being at girls camp.
Jo and Stephen give us such a warm welcome it is hard to leave. The food in the restaurant is fab and the shop full of goodies as well as the stalls .
The atmosphere will get you in the Christmas spirit. We will have goodies for you to treat yourselves to in the sewing and haberdashery department, vintage fabrics trims and buttons , lots of lace, French linen, smocks and much more.

My " Mooks " have arrived

My " Mooks " arrived today, I now feel very " up to the minute ! " I learnt about these from an American Blog I follow . They are Japanese , a cross between a magazine and a book hence Mook.
The Japanese take on European Interiors , quite fascinating a real cross pollination of cultures.
I have the Ma Deco a Paris and the second is about a series of young and Artistic couple's Appartements in Paris. There are quite a number and Sweden is another country they focus on.
I braved Amazon Japan to buy these ! that was an experience , the postage was as much as the Mooks !
My son and his Japanese friend are coming for the weekend so will be interested to see what they think; also my friend Janice who loves all things Japanese.

Bisley Rag Market ,amazing

Aladdin's Cave , well John Gillows actually!!
Bisley Rag market is in the picturesque Cotswold village of Bisley. The village hall is a delightful wooden building with everything you could want for an event like this and the impression when you walked through the door was so full of promise.
Lizzie and I set up the night before after a fraught journey with Freidatoo threatening to pack up all the way.
Sigh of relief we made it! we were lucky to have our lovely friend Polly to stay with and had a great evening with some wonderful food cooked on the aga and for us a relaxed start next morning .
I could not resist the wonderful exotic heaps on John's stall, I don't think there has been a a occasion when we have been at the same venue that I have not bought. I filled a bag with these lovely things and a few lucky people will be getting a special Christmas presssie !
There were quite a number of us that regularly stand together a various fairs and a good number of for us new faces so shopping was definitely a must.
There were throngs of enthusiastic buyers and what an interesting and lovely crowd they were ,the whole day gave you a warm glow,
The girls who did the food produced the most delicious selection and were lovely.
What more can I say it was just perfect.
Anf the car ?? that was another story lets just say we got home courtesy of the big yellow lorry with the generous support of my David who turned out to help
