I was inspired to use some bits of indigo 19th cent. quilt that are so wrecked it had to be something small to use them. I love these prints and the quilts so much every piece is precious to me.
I was thinking about fabric mattress buttons which I am about to make from ticking when I got this idea and this is the result, what do you think?
I think your button-hole flowers are brillian- how about a snood (so fashionable just now) - made with a decent bit of soft flannel and a couple of rows at each end, or a pull-on denim hat with some round the rim?
