Ilminster Talent for Textiles Fair at The Old Meeting House is always a big favourite with stall holders and customers alike!
This one was no exception and we had expanded into the garden with four of us under canvas in the front garden. 7 am saw us heaving up the so called "pop up " Gazebo's those of you who have done outside fairs will know what I mean!!
However apart from a little sprinkle the weather was kind and we were happy to be out there greeting everyone it had a rather festival feel to the day.
All the main T for T players were there and a good number of regular visiting dealers making the most wonderful array of goodies you could wish for.
We all had a lovely day and I think most people had a good Fair
Yes, Linda and Liz, I certainly had a very good Fair and it did not fizzle out during the afternoon - I think the good lunch has something to do with it - people find more energy and a few more £sd. to have another sortie round the stalls. My last sale was ten minutes after Time Ladies Please! As always, Caroline and helpers did a great job and so many people, including many new visitors, told me they were have such a lovely time and finding such good stuff - well done you ,Talented ladies. ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful as always. I was sad to miss my first Ilminster in many years.. but the call of France and a slap up Birthday lunch of Moule couldn't be missed...... xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful looking fair, I wish I didn't live so far away. I would have loved to have been there.
