What a difference a day can make

After such an unpromising start with icy rain and wind by mid day we had made some new friends!

We are using this trip to promote our various other markets and are perfectly placed for Chagford so we hope to have introduced some new faces Sheila.

We are finding it very friendly , this market is a real mix ranging from serious “High end “ what I call proper Antiques who are taking serious money through to “ Flea Market “ stalls. We are the only Textile stall although there are some vintage and retro clothes stands here.

We have had some of our Cowslip customers and even a T for T lady who we now know lives on Bodmin. Our star customer is decorating an old Inn from the 1600’s and knows his French textiles, he quietly got on with working his way through our stall. Thank you Robert you made our day.
